Sometimes you see me as Linga - Stories

STORY: Nowhere to Hide
Once a saint, to test his disciples, called a few and gave them each a mango and said: "Eat them where no one can see you. Everyone went and found a hiding place to eat the mango, except one, who returned with his mango. He returned his mango to his teacher and said, "I could not find a place where God was not watching, as He is everywhere.'

STORY: The World is GOD
A man living in the world was disgusted with his life. He renounced the world and started praying to Bhagavan: "I want only you…I am tired of this world…please give me your darsan…then alone I will be happy." Bhagavan heard his prayers and said, "Here I am." When the man opened his eyes, what did he see? God had come to him as the world only.

Swami Shivananda, a great Guru has written a beautiful poem for this:
When I look at mother Ganga…I know it is God
When I see a jasmine flower…I know it is God
When I behold the blue sky…I know it is God
When I hear the chirping of the birds…I know it is God
When I taste honey…I know it is God...
